This year the 10th International Conference on Service Oriented Computing will be held November 12-16 in Shanghai, China. The Call for Papers and Workshops is out.

All accepted papers will appear in the ICSOC 2012 proceedings published by Springer-Verlag under the Services Science series

227 papes were submitted to ICSOC 2011 (held in Cyprus). The Program Committee accepted 30 full and 24 short research papers and  6 industry papers. In addition, 12 submissions to the PhD Symposium and 5 demo papers were accepted.

Thus, we have an acceptance rate for full papers of somewhat more than 13%, while both full and short research papers viewed together yield an acceptance rate below 24%.

At ICSOC 2010 (held in San Francisco) we had nearly twice as many submissions (41) from North America than this year (22) but only a slight increase in the rate of accepted full papers (7 in 2010 as opposed to 5 in 2011). The follwing diagram compares both years.
